Son
The ‘Je Suis BAU’ collection embodies the boldness of architecture and art jewelry, celebrating forms, colors, and textures within a modern Bauhaus aesthetic. Each piece is a work of art that catches the eye and evokes an intimate connection with the wearer.
We have designed rings with fluid curves and varied raw textures, creating a captivating play of light. Each ring is crafted to gently embrace the finger, combining elegance and sophistication in a tactile dialogue.
Some of the earrings stand out with their daring asymmetry, playing with different shapes and lengths to create a fascinating visual effect. This originality invites experimentation, allowing each wearer to express her unique style.
The bracelets make use of sharp angles and clean lines for a decidedly modern aesthetic. Their geometric structure highlights the beauty of minimalism while emphasizing the individuality of each piece.
The pendants, wearable sculptures in their own right, are adorned with various stones that add color and brilliance. Their design highlights the richness of the materials while integrating architectural elements.
Finally, the necklaces flourish in a perfect balance of curved forms and clean lines, creating a harmonious movement around the neck. Each piece celebrates fluidity and sophistication while conveying a modern artistic language.
Together, these creations reflect the spirit of the ‘Je Suis BAU’ collection, where each piece of jewelry invites inspiration and celebrates the uniqueness of every individual, incorporating architectural influences that transcend time.
Led by the creative vision of Géraldine Raulier, this collection serves as a manifesto for jewelry that blends architectural rigor with artistic freedom.
A visionary and inspired architect from Charleroi, Marcel Leborgne well known for his exceptional virtuosity and technical mastery, creating a symphony of volumes in space and light. He also delved into naval architecture, where his work evokes a timeless aesthetic, reminiscent of the graceful silhouette of a luxury liner, blending angles and curves, feminine and masculine.
Colors
Often perceived as clean and minimalist, the Bauhaus movement reveals a more assertive side, where hues dance in harmony, creating a dynamic palette that breathes life. Our jewelry, inspired by this celebration of color, embodies the very essence of Bauhaus.
Asymmetry
Asymmetry is often used in Bauhaus compositions to surprise and leave a lasting impression. Inspired by this boldness, our jewelry embodies the modern Bauhaus aesthetic, where simplicity and creativity merge harmoniously.
Textures
Often focused on the texture and form of materials, Bauhaus artists explored their tactile and visual properties to create works that engaged the senses in a new way. Some pieces in the collection perfectly reflect this play of combinations between different surfaces and how they are used. Smooth, matte, glossy, engraved, concrete effect...
Curves
Between delicate curves and precise angles, every element of our collection is meticulously designed to capture light in a unique way, creating a play of reflections that evokes a visual symphony. The fluid curves act like mirrors, refracting light with softness and elegance, while the angles maximize brilliance, adding radiance to every detail. Inspired by a distinctive geometric form, ‘Je suis BAU’ celebrates the harmony between local heritage and international influence, evoking a synergy between the past and the present.
Less Is More
Adopted for its functional qualities in the second half of the 19th century, steel furniture took a turning point in 1926 with Marcel Breuer and his Wassily chair, featuring clean lines and produced by Thonet. In Charleroi, the firm Glume and designers like Gaston Eysselinck and Lucien François pushed the boundaries of this material by exploring innovative structures that combined aesthetics and functionality. Steel tubing furniture thus became a staple in design, offering creations that are light, durable, and elegant, fully embracing the 'less is more' concept with bold, modern, and well-proportioned pieces.
